John Wu


John has extensive experience in a wide range of areas of law including property and construction law, corporate and commercial law, family law and criminal law. Since his admission as a lawyer, John has handled a countless number of cases including property transactions, purchase of businesses, commercial and retail leasing, partnerships and disputes, child support, binding financial agreements, separation and divorce.

John has developed a reputation for securing a better future for his clients by successfully defending criminal matters, and achieving section 10 sentencing. John speaks fluent Mandarin and English and his clients come from all walks of life, ranging from individuals to small businesses through to large corporations and companies. Strong willed and motivated, John always provides legal services to clients that lead to the best possible outcomes.

Steven Yu

Senior Consultant

Steven has extensive experiences in cross-boarder mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and property development management & financing. He was also previously the Chief Executive Officer of an ASX listed mining company Anchor Resources Ltd (ASX:AHR) and currently holds directorship in multiple listed companies.

Prior to joining Sunsolis, he worked as a practicing lawyer for Norton Rose Fulbright in Beijing and Melbourne, Deacons and Maddocks Lawyers in Melbourne. He was a key member for the $1.4billion hostile takeover of Midwest by Sinosteel which was awarded the deal of the year by the International Financial Law Review.

He holds a Commerce & Law degree from Melbourne University, Masters of Law degree from Boston University and EMBA degree from Columbia University and London Business School. He is admitted to practice law in China, Australia and United States. His speciality areas are capital market, structured financing and property transactions.

Herman Yeh


Herman has extensive knowledge and experience in law and has been a University guest lecturer. His major areas of practice include corporate, commercial law and family wealth management.

Herman has exceptional abilities in dispute resolution and has successfully run multiple litigation matters for corporate and individual clients. His experience includes offering a range of advisory and legal support to clients in matters involving cross-border dispute resolution, M&A, AFSL application, AUSTRAC compliance, investment, trust and equity.

He is also a non-executive director of a socially responsible non-profit organisation which provides a range of legal and social support to local communities.

Herman values client communication. He is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English and as a result he can ensure that clients speaking different languages are listened to well and looked after.

Lingyu (Gloria) Zhao

Lingyu (Gloria) Zhao is a solicitor at Sunsolis Legal who has extensive legal experience enabling her to provide strategic advice on a wide range of matters including Family Law (divorce application, property settlements, child support and disputes involving domestic violence), Immigration Law, Commercial Law (shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, corporate advisory, dispute resolution) and Property Law.

Gloria completed her Juris Doctor degree at University of New South Wales before she was admitted as a lawyer in NSW. Jiaxi (Cathy) Li

Cathy is an associate of Sunsolis Legal specialising in complex immigration, property and commercial matters. Due to her extensive experience and knowledge, she has perfectly handled thousands of property transactions, including acquisition, the sale and purchase of businesses, disposal and development of property for residential, commercial, industrial, retail and mixed-use purposes, and retail leasing acting for both landlords and tenants..

Cathy’s experience also covers employment Law, family Law, and criminal Law. She completed her Juris Doctor degree at the University of New South Wales before she was admitted as a lawyer in Sydney. She has over 5 years of legal practice and always provides concise and tailored legal advice.

Cathy is well known for her friendly professional approach in providing legal advice, which has obtained numerous positive feedback and promoted a strong referral network.

Jiaxi (Cathy) Li Solicitor

Tian She


Tina predominantly practises in conveyancing and property transaction matters. She has expertise in residential conveyancing, drafting and negotiating contracts and handling more complex issues.

Tina is able to advise and assist clients in achieving a timely and effective settlement with her superior organizational skills and a strong attention to details. She always strives to make the conveyancing process as smooth as possible by keeping clients informed of the progress throughout the whole process.

Tina completed her Juris Doctor degree at the University of New South Wales and was admitted as a lawyer in Sydney. Her work consistently demonstrates her efficiency and responsibility, as well as her trustworthy and friendly nature.

David Fu


David Fu graduated from the University of Adelaide with a double degree in law and finance. He was qualified as a lawyer in New South Wales in 2018. He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

David mainly practices in property law, contract law, business sales and lease agreements. He also practices wills and estate and family law.

Sylvia Liu


Sylvia graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of International and Global Studies (majoring in government and international relations). She then went on to complete her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice before becoming admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Sylvia has experience in all areas of immigration law and she advises on visa eligibility, temporary and permanent visa options, visa strategies, compliance and risk management in the visa context as well as merits and judicial review. Utilising her keen eye for detail and aptitude in finding innovative solutions, she strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients at all times.

Sylvia is passionate about global mobility and social issues. She finds meaning in helping people in need. She speaks fluent Mandarin and English, and she is driven to provide the best experience of service for both her local and international clients.

Rachel Au


Rachel is dedicated and committed to providing high-quality legal services for her clients. She has extensive experience in a wide range of areas of law, especially in property, commercial and corporate law. She has worked for clients from various backgrounds, as well as publicly listed companies, not-for-profit organisations and charities. She mainly assists her clients in the sale and purchase of properties at Sunsolis Legal.

Rachel graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Social Research and Policy degree, majoring in Economics. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese. She gives back to the community by volunteering at free legal advice sessions to assist people who have limited access to the law.

We also closely cooperate with a panel of experienced barristers who import great value when representing clients in complex legal proceedings.

Jaehyun Park


Jae is a leading barrister in Sydney and has over ten years experience in the area of Criminal Law. Prior to being called to the bar, Jae worked as a Police Prosecutor for seven years with the NSW Police Force and gained a wide range of experience. He has practiced with genuine passion and professionalism, striving to seek justice for his clients.

Jae has extensive experience including trial counsel with the State and Commonwealth DPP’s, Special Prosecutor’s Office, and Criminal Justice Commission. He appears at all stages of the criminal process including the Local Court, the District Court, and the Supreme Court.

Jae now practices in the New South Wale, Australia predominantly in the area of Criminal Law majoring in defence cases including appellate, trial and tribunal hearings. Jae’s trial experience includes: assault; murder; Manslaughter; domestic violence; larceny; armed robbery; kidnapping and sexual assault.

Jae’s practice also includes Coronial Inquests / Commissions of Inquiry, and Mental Health.

Craig Moran


Craig is a barrister-at-law who has gained significant experience in many areas of the law including commercial law, criminal law, family law, wills and estates and conveyancing.

He has practiced across NSW in offices, chambers and courthouses on the Central Coast, the Blue Mountains and the Greater Sydney area.

Craig is a highly experienced barrister with extensive expertise across a broad range of areas of civil law, family law, property law and criminal law.
